Have trouble holding onto your gun??? Does it get slippery in the rain or heat?? Stippling can dramatically enhance your ability to hold onto your gun and fit it to your hand. Whether you shoot for fun, competition, personal protection, or duty; weapon retention and a consistent grip are key to accurate shooting.
We can stipple all hard plastic / polymer style grips including: Glock’s, HK USP, Smith and Wesson M&P, Springfield XD, and 1911 style plastic grip panels, as well as some AR grips and Shotgun For-ends. You might ask “What is Stippling?” Stippling is a heat treatment texture given to plastic/polymer grips. This process allows us to add varying degrees of texture to your firearms grips. This treatment is applied directly to the polymer frame of your gun and is not something added on. In this process we can also thin the grip and remove or reduce finger wells that may not fit your hand. In our process we do not cut the frame of the handgun for reduction as some companies might do. We feel this dramatically weakens the frame and the longevity of your handgun.
We have a number of different styles of Stippling available: · Full Grip — For a full grip we stipple the entire surface of the handgun grip; which includes the finger grooves, front strap under the trigger guard, full side panels, and the back strap. · Inset Pattern— For an inset pattern, we stipple inside the textured contours of the factory grip pattern. This is a very nice clean look, while still having the added texture for retention. Many of our customers who carry concealed choose this pattern. · 3/4 Wrap— For the 3/4 wrap, it is similar to the full grip but we do not come up over the rear finger swells on the sides and not as high cut in the back strap. · We can also set the texture according to your needs. Whether you work with gloves and need an aggressive texture, or carry concealed but still want good grip retention we have a pattern and texture for you. · Additionally options are available such as finger groove reduction or removal, grip reduction, stippling of the thumb index position on the side of the frame. · We can also stipple magazine extensions to match your grips. |
